Many online courses are available, but participants may need help choosing a starting point, using a computer, creating accounts, staying organized, and preparing for certification examinations. ECMI’s planned role is to serve as a learning navigator and support hub.

  • Basic computer, keyboard, email, file-management, and internet skills
  • Help identifying reputable entry-level IT learning pathways
  • Guidance comparing course length, cost, prerequisites, and exam fees
  • Computer access and online-learning assistance as equipment becomes available
  • Study schedules, accountability check-ins, and test-preparation support
  • Resume and digital-portfolio readiness
  • Referrals to authorized certification testing and training providers
